Photography: Moving stories in still pictures
I began dabbling in photography as a medium for telling stories midway through the spring of 2015. While I am decidedly an amateur, I relish any opportunity to use my camera in both mundane and extraordinary circumstances. Like my performance and writing, my photography focuses heavily on on capturing moments that exhibit characters, relationships, and dynamics—each photo is intended to inspire the viewer to imagine a broader narrative, ultimately including them in the creative process. I use Adobe Lightroom to properly frame each photo and emphasize the colors and geometry most important for each photo’s story.
